Instagram Community Guidelines
Bank of New Jersey’s official Instagram account serves the general purpose of sharing what we’re doing in local communities, providing customer service assistance and updating you on what’s going on at Bank of New Jersey.
Our Instagram page is public, which means that anyone can see our pictures. Unless you protect your pictures (something you can do in your Instagram account settings), anyone can see your pictures and your pictures may even show up in search-engine results (like on Google or Yahoo!).
When tagging or comment on Bank of New Jersey pictures, we encourage everyone to:
- Use common courtesy and be respectful of others;
- Post your own original content and avoid content that you know to be fraudulent;
- Never repost someone else’s copyrighted work unless you have permission; and
- Never post personal, identifying or confidential information

Please note that we may unfollow a user who dramatically changes their mission and objectives, or who we feel violates our social media community policy.
Bank of New Jersey has a presence in various social media/social networking outlets and may occasionally identify and respond to customers seeking assistance with banking-related issues. In the event a customer receives such a communication from the bank regarding a service request or other need, the customer may be offered other Bank of New Jersey channels to help address those concerns as smoothly and effectively as possible.
Interacting with Us on Instagram
Our Instagram account is managed and monitored by Bank of New Jersey. We’re actively watching what people are saying to and about Bank of New Jersey on Instagram to ensure we’re receiving and/or offering feedback. However, because of the public nature of the platform, we simply can’t respond to or engage on all issues.
Never disclose any financial information on Instagram. Bank of New Jersey will never ask you for your Social Security number, account information, passwords or PINs via Instagram. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of Instagram. Please review Instagram’s policies here.
In addition, we discourage clicking on links posted by other Instagram users, as these links may pose risks to your computer or take you to inappropriate sites. Also, we don’t accept or consider unsolicited ideas, including new advertising campaigns, new promotions, materials, marketing plans or new product names. Please do not submit any unsolicited ideas, original creative artwork, suggestions or other works (“œsubmissions”) in any form to Bank of New Jersey or its employees.
Please don’t use Instagram to report phishing or criminal activity. Suspicious emails should be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to file a report, please call your personal banking professional for assistance.

We may occasionally post pictures or videos that include links to third-party sites when we think you’ll find the information helpful. However, please note that this does not in any way constitute an official endorsement of the individual, site or company.
Company Profiles on Instagram
To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include personally identifiable information, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, phone numbers or email addresses in any comments, post, pictures or videos. If you do include personally identifiable information in your comment, your comment or post may be deleted.
